A time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die. (death has lost its sting)
A time to plant and a time to harvest. (Know your season)
A time to kill and a time to heal. (kill the flesh)
A time to tear down and a time to build up. (replace lies with truth)
A time to cry and a time to laugh.
A time to grieve and a time to dance. (Grief doesn’t define you)
A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones.
A time to embrace and a time to turn away. (letting go of some relationships)
A time to search and a time to quit searching.
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear and a time to mend. (Make peace where possible)
A time to be quiet and a time to speak. (Take back your voice)
A time to love and a time to hate. (sin and sickness)
A time for war and a time for peace. (enforcing the victory of the cross)
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
'....of the sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do……….
Sometimes it’s difficult to know what season we are in, but it should always be a season of growth! Holy Spirit journeys with us, even when we don’t sense or feel him. Even in the valley of Bacca (weeping) we are just passing through!

There was a time in my life that I had taken up residency in Bacca Street! My emotions, my soul needed healing, but like those in scripture I was refusing the comfort of the Holy Spirit. I believed the lie that if the lid came off, the pain would never stop A pandora’s box!
Eventually I came to my senses and realised that that the thief of John 10:10 had an open door to my life. It was a journey of healing, including forgiveness, repentance and faith! It wasn’t a quick fix, but in that time came my greatest personal spiritual growth. I faced honestly where I was at and ran to him rather than away from him. It was in that valley experience that His kindness, love and grace bought me into the victory of the cross.
‘What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]
He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?
Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, who acquits us?]
Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?
Who shall ever separate us from Christ’s love? Shall suffering and affliction and tribulation? Or calamity and distress? Or persecution or hunger or destitution or peril or sword? Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.
Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors [a]and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.
For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,
Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
What joy for those whose strength comes from the Lord,
who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
When they walk through the Valley of Weeping, it will become a place of refreshing springs.
The autumn rains will clothe it with blessings. Psalm 84:5-6
This isn’t meant to be a season!
In Philippians 2:12-13 Paul writes, “Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed – not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence – continue to work out your salvation (wholeness) with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his purpose.”
"Work out your own salvation (wholeness) with fear and trembling" means to actively put your faith into practice. It is not about earning salvation, which is considered a free gift. Instead, "fear and trembling" signifies profound reverence, humility, and awe before God, acknowledging our complete dependence on Him.
• "Work out": This means to bring to completion, cultivate, or actively live out. You are "working out" the salvation that God has already "worked in" you. It's about daily sanctification—acting like the saved individual you already are.
• "Fear": In biblical terms, this generally refers to a holy reverence or deep respect for God's majesty and holiness, rather than terror or being afraid of losing your salvation.
• "Trembling": This highlights the weight, seriousness, and humility with which a believer should approach their spiritual journey. It reflects a total reliance on God's grace and an awareness of one's own human limitations.
We are a triune being. Born of the spirit, have a soul, (mind, will, emotions, personality), and we have a body, our earth suit!
Our Spirit man should be boss! When we become born again, our spirit is recreated and it will always agree with God’s word. When we know and apply the word, our spirit becomes strong. Our soul and body should always be in subjection to our spirit!
Too often we are led by our soul, our emotions, how we feel; which can and often does affects our bodies. Stress for example, has a negative effect on our bodies and minds. Our sleep and appetite are disturbed, hair can fall out, our memory can be affected. Our mind and body carry and display the effects of stress. When the door of unforgiveness, bitterness and judgements are open in our hearts it’s an invitation for the enemy to oppress us!

‘Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life’. Proverbs 4:23
Most of our difficulties are related to our soul. There are 450 references to the soul depending on what translation you read.
‘And YOU shall love the Lord your God [a]out of and with your whole heart and out of and with all your soul (your life) and out of and with all your mind (with your faculty of thought and your moral understanding) and out of and with all your strength. This is the first and principal commandment. Mark was quoting Deuteronomy 6
Take a moment to ask the Lord’s forgiveness for all the times you have let your soul have dominion over your spirit! Break any partnership of living below God’s provision! Speak to your soul and put it under subjection to your Spirit!
The world is counterfeiting ways of healing the whole man, so many apps, courses, products to buy that is recommended to help and heal our well-being issues. lots of money is being made from these products.
Some of it is good, beneficial even, but they only deal with the symptoms not the root causes!
The church should be leading the way in the healing of the whole man.
God has provided for complete healing through Jesus and it’s his gift to the world!
So, what’s the answer?
‘Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and] recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.’ Mark 12:30

When Jesus spoke those words, He was referring to Jeremiah 6:16
‘Thus says the Lord: Stand by the roads and look; and ask for the eternal paths, where the good, old way is; then walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk in it!’
They didn’t want to do things God’s way; therefore, they suffered the consequences of their actions!
'This is what the Lord says: “A cry is heard in Ramah— deep anguish and bitter weeping. Rachel weeps for her children, refusing to be comforted— for her children are gone.”
Jer 31:15
The Holy Spirit is the comforter, teacher, advocate the one who is meant to lead and guide us! However, we often look to other things for comfort.
‘Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths.’ Proverbs 3:5-6
The old ways, the ancient pathway leads to life, wholeness, the restoration of our souls.
What are the old ways and how do we appropriate them?
‘Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.’ Romans 12:2
‘Put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.’ Eph 4:22-24
According to the Bible, renewing your mind is an active, daily process of shifting your focus from worldly patterns to God’s truth. It requires a conscious effort to align your thoughts with Scripture and yield to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Immersing Yourself in Scripture: You renew your mind by reading, memorizing, and meditating on God's Word. This acts as the spiritual truth used to replace old, worldly ways of thinking.
Taking Thoughts Captive: Intentionally evaluate your thoughts. The Bible instructs believers to "take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ," rejecting lies or anxieties and replacing them with His truth.
Focusing on Positive, Godly Truth: Actively dwell on things that are true, noble, right, pure, and lovely, as outlined in Philippians 4:8.

Surrendering to the Holy Spirit: Spiritual transformation is a work of the Holy Spirit. You must invite the Spirit to guide your mind and rely on His power rather than your own strength.
Here are three thoughts to help us on our journey of the restoration of our soul.
What to do in dark seasons of your life, soul!
This is where the world is at!
‘Arise [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you—rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!’ Isaiah 60:1
God has given you a voice and he expects you to use it, and speak to your soul and your mountains!
Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, who is the help of my countenance, and my God. Psalm 42:11
‘And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
For this reason, I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].’
Mark 11:22-24
When your soul is in its proper alignment to your spirit, you can then better fulfil the role that God has designated to you from before your birth. (Psalm 139 TPT)
When your soul and body, are in proper submission to your spirit, then these words of Isaiah 61 will cause your spirit to leap within you!
As you read these words, put your own name in there, and let your mind become so renewed to these truths that any healing you need will break out in your soul and body.
'The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,
To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion—to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit—that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.'
‘And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].
He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.
And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;
They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.
So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and He sat down at the right hand of God.
And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it).

Now GO………It’s not about you, it’s all about Him and His kingdom!
