Over the last month, my doorbell has rung more than a few times, seemingly on its own. Late at night and early in the morning, and each time, no one was at the door. Initially, it made me feel nervous, then annoyed. I turned it off at the mains, switched it back on, unplugged it, then plugged it in again, hoping it was just a glitch. I really didn’t want to replace the whole unit! I prayed over it and rebuked it, in the name of Jesus! It seemed to right itself; job done! So,

“Stop at the crossroads and look around and ask for the old godly way and walk in it. Travel its path and you’ll find rest for your souls, but you reply, no, that’s not the road we want.” Jeremiah 6:16 Have you ever had God impress upon you a scripture, a picture, something from a film or book that remains with you, makes you curious, or you want to know what it means? The above scripture has had that effect upon me for the last year or so. It made me think about the path

A time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. (death has lost its sting) A time to plant and a time to harvest. (Know your season) A time to kill and a time to heal. (kill the flesh) A time to tear down and a time to build up. (replace lies with truth) A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance. (Grief doesn’t define you) A time to scatter stones and a time to gather stones. A time to embrace and a time to turn away.
